Work has been hell. I am thankful for having today off, but incredibly disappointed at how fast the time is flying by. I'm sore as all fuck, too. But overall, I like the job. It's harder work than one would really think, and I've made some friends already. All in all, I like it. All is well.
Internet.. ah, internet. I haven't been on much at all. For a couple hours after work, before I pass out, and MAYBE some time before work. Sometimes. One point in this week, I managed to get on WoW. I was immediately slapped into an officer meeting, in which Elvine cried about people not being up to his standards for the umpteenth time. Rig and I (Mainly Rig, because he and I have talked about this tons of times and he knows exactly what I'm thinking.) gave him easy solutions. Of course, because Elvine is a prick, he did not take them. I logged in a couple of nights ago to find he'd quit and promoted two of our new members, two of his mage buddies, as GM and co-GM. He told Rig he was quitting, but not a word about who he was promoting.
Don't get me wrong. I don't mind the new GM and co-GM. One's a little egotistical, but it's easy to work around. I don't think they should have been promoted without either officer being spoken to, or better yet, the members not being spoken to. I think that was kind of screwy. but whatever. Hopefully they can lead FTA to heights that Elvine never would have been capable of. Elvine was a horrible GM.
What gets me is that he acted like we all owed him something..
( lol Elvine. Lol. )
Whatever. I quit. I don't have time to raid with work anyway. Granted, I'd have loved to have seen Ulduar, but..yeah.
This opens up more time for PVP and Val. This is a good thing. I have a crapton of things to do graphics-wise for Val, and Zazen and Arken are rushing Lerhyn into productivity like I'd never imagined. I'd hate to spend my off-hours and days off dealing with stupid, nerdraging kids from Florida rather than doing something I enjoy. I have other obligations. Whatever.
